To Whom it May Concern:

I have known Jenny Wu as a student for four years. In all the time that I’ve known her, she has
never failed to be polite, attentive, and hardworking. In the future, as a first generation high
school and college graduate, Jenny will blaze new trails for her family. She has the qualities
necessary to achieve academic success in not just in high school, but in college.

Jenny takes challenging coursework. She has taken dual credit chemistry and speech as well
as French for two years and Spanish for three. In addition to studying two foreign languages,
Jenny speaks English and two Chinese dialects, including Mandarin. Jenny has studied math
every year in high school. This year she is studying precalculus and trigonometry and has
maintained a 3.9 GPA.

Most importantly, Jenny possesses leadership qualities. She is an example for younger
students and has embraced opportunities to make a difference. Each year the Kuna School
District has a migrant summer school for elementary aged migrant children. Jenny has assisted
teachers in the migrant program each year and this past year she taught a lesson a Chinese
language to the children.

Jenny deserves any scholarship and jobs that she qualifies for. She works hard, gets excellent
grades, and takes opportunities to provide service. She is a wonderful young woman.
