Hello!
Welcome to your Pilot Binder
This is a complete set of information required to start you off on the Humain Health
journey!
Remember, YOU are the face of our company! You are here to give the customer
an amazing wellness experience of the highest quality!
Read everything in this binder carefully and refer to it often when you require help!
We expect all pilots to be very well versed with the app! We are happy to
answer any questions you may have about it.
Humain Health is a 360° ecosystem for corporate wellness. Users can take a basic
health check at the station and also connect to doctors on call instantly while at the
station or anywhere, anytime they want to. It is the first step to start self-monitoring
their health and day to day activity to improve their wellbeing.
• The Pilot will work with and operate multiple high- tech
point-of-care devices as part of the HUMAIN Health Check Station
or Backpack.
A. Station App
The station app is the platform on the iPad that guides the pilot through the
complete instant health check and instant up sells. It facilitates the communication
between the pilot and the user. It is important for the pilot to remember to purchase
every product for that user on the station app. This includes the instant health
check, the up sold products and the diagnostic lab panels.
B. User App
D. Pilot Notebook:
The pilot notebook is a book that is assigned to each pilot. It is meant for the pilot to
take notes in during their session. The pilot notebook has a template of columns in
order to make it easier for the pilot to write down specific criteria. However this
notebook can be used to take down any other notes about the session as well. Please
do not use any other personal notebook to take down notes. Make sure your pilot
notebook is numbered and that the head office has that number assigned to your
name. Please return the notebook to the head office once it is completed and ask for
a fresh one.

ETIQUETTE
2. The pilot should have effective communication skills and convincing ability.
3. Any issues must be noted, and reported to the head office team along with
the steps taken by the pilot to resolve them.
4. Users who have completed one session should be motivated and engaged to
stay on the app using its features to the fullest. It is essential for pilots to
therefore know all about the features of the app.
5. The pilot is expected to build and nurture a relationship with the user in
a way that the user may learn to trust, and speak to the pilot about all
their wellness issues and goals.
6. The pilot should forward all health related questions that the user may
have to an expert by placing a call for the user at the end of a session.
7. Always keep the user engaged during the session by talking to them about the
test you are doing and any other health related questions
8. Goal setting - ensure that users set some “goals” wherever possible and therefore have some
reason to come back
9. Maintain notes for important information that the user may mention during
the session that is not captured by the system eg. current health problems,
therapies etc.
The following are the DO’S & DON’TS, which will help you in
Good Communication
DO’S DON’TS
Listen, pay full attention Don’t be distracted
(phone, looking at watch)
Good eye contact (head up) Avoidance of eye contact or

11. Once the wallet is loaded the journey will begin with health
history questions being asked
to the user - they may tap on the applicable answers.
14. Height is the first measurement - enter the value as per the measurement
before the
session starts

Make sure the tape does not fall below the buttocks when
measuring the hip
Note Body fat percentage estimates will vary with the amount of
water in the body, and can be affected by dehydration or over
hydration due to such factors as alcohol consumption,
menstruation, illness, intense exercise, etc.
Pre requisites *Needs 4 AA batteries. Make sure to use all 4 new batteries when

FVC (FEV6): Forced The total volume of air you can forcefully blow out. It is
Vital Capacity: an assessment of the size of your lungs, how well your
lungs expand and contract, and how well the air passages
open and close.
Patients with obstructive lung disease usually have a
normal or only slightly decreased vital capacity. A Reduced
FVC is associated with restrictive lung disorders, diseases
that may be caused by inflammation or scarring of the lung
tissue (interstitial lung disease) or by abnormalities of the
muscles or skeleton of the chest wall.
FEV1: Forced is the volume of air that you can blow out in the first
Expiratory Volume: second of exhalation.
Typically FEV1 is considered “normal” if greater than 80% is
predicted. FEV1 is reduced in both obstructive and
restrictive lung disease.
FEV1/FVC: This ratio compares the volume of air expelled in the first
second to the total volume expelled.
In healthy patients the FEV1/FVC is usually around
70%-80%. In patients with obstructive lung disease FEV1/
FVC decreases and can be as low as 20-30% in severe
obstructive airway disease. Restrictive disorders have a
near normal FEV1/FVC ratio.
Interpretation
Normal FEV6 and FEV1 values equal to or greater than 80% (of the
target value)

BODY FAT
Body Fat Percentage is the proportion of fat to the total body weight. Body Fat Mass is
the actual weight of fat in your body. Body fat is essential for maintaining body
temperature, cushioning joints and protecting internal organs.

MUSCLE MASS
The predicted weight of muscle in your body.
Muscle mass includes the skeletal muscles, smooth muscles such as cardiac and
digestive muscles and the water contained in these muscles. Muscles act as an
engine in consuming energy.
As your muscle mass increases, the rate at which you burn energy (calories) increases
which accelerates your basal metabolic rate (BMR) and helps you reduce excess body
fat levels and lose weight in a healthy way.
If you are exercising hard your muscle mass will increase and may increase your total
body weight too. That’s why it’s important to monitor your measurements regularly
to see the impact of your training program on your muscle mass.
Indicates the condition (quality) of muscle, which changes according to factors like age
and exercise level. The muscle of young people or those who exercise regularly is
normally in a good state, but the state of muscle deteriorates in elderly people or those
who not have enough exercise. Both Quantity and Quality are important for a healthy
muscle! Please make sure you maintain a good balance between muscle mass and
quality.
TOTAL BODY WATER
Total Body Water is the total amount of fluid in the body expressed as a percentage of
total weight.
Water is an essential part of staying healthy. Over half the body consists of water.
It regulates body temperature and helps eliminate waste. You lose water
continuously through urine, sweat and breathing, so it’s important to keep
replacing it.
The amount of fluid needed every day varies from person to person and is affected by
climatic conditions and how much physical activity you undertake. Being well hydrated
helps concentration levels, sports performance and general wellbeing.
Experts recommend that you should drink at least eight 8-ounce glasses of fluid a day,
preferably water or other low calorie drinks. If you are training, it’s important to
increase your fluid intake to ensure peak performance at all times.
