Alternatives to cope with traffic problems

Introduction
Nowadays, traffic congestion and its numerous and harmful
consequences raise great concern among the society. The aim of this
proposal is to describe the most serious traffic problems and suggest
some helpful solutions.

Dangers to the pedestrians

To begin with, there is no doubt that traffic congestion has been
quite dangerous to the pedestrians. A recent research reveals that the
number of car crashes and people being injured is getting bigger and
bigger. Fortunately, there are many alternatives which could help
solve this issue. For example, both workers and students should use
public transport instead of private cars or a taxi. In result, there will be
traffic reduction which will make the streets safer to the population.

Environmental issues
What is more, despite being personally useful, the usage of
private cars is one of the main reasons for the detrimental air
pollution. Not only is it harmful to the nature, but it causes a great
number of terminal deceases to a large part of the population. In order
to cope with this serious traffic problem, there is a number of useful
suggestions which should be taken into consideration. In my view,
people should start using eco-friendly means of transport. For
instance, riding a bike or going on foot is both beneficial to the Earth
and people’s health. Also, the public transport is always less harmful
and affordable alternative.

Conclusion
To summarize, the traffic problem could be easily solved if
people just bear in mind that it is their responsibility to make the
streets safer and the Earth cleaner. Today there are numerous
accessible options which everyone should undertake.
