1. Tilt the cab and fit a cab strut.

2. Dismantle the link arm and the vertical stay.

20 Nm

3. Remove the upper part of the vertical link from the ball joint on the vertical stay
or link arm. Use a Torx wrench as a counterhold.
4. Remove the lower part of the vertical link from the gearshift rod bracket, use a
Torx wrench as a counterhold.
5. Remove the vertical link.

6. Remove the nuts fixing the vertical stay bracket in the cast bracket 1 of the power
steering gear. On the two lower screws, between the two brackets, there is a
washer which is locked with an O-ring.

7. Remove the ball joint of the vertical stay from the gearshift rod, use a Torx
wrench as a counterhold. The gearshift rod is fitted on the ball joint with a washer
on each side.
8. Remove the vertical stay.
9. Remove the rear part of the gear shift linkage.
10. Remove the yoke frame bracket.
11. Pull out the gearshift rod backwards.
