Pressure Modulator Valves (PMV) for ABS and EBS

Overview of the PMV Aftermarket range for commercial vehicles
Pressure modulator valves are used in braking systems, in order to modulate pressure in the brake actuators
in response to signals from e.g. the electronic control unit (ECU) or the Foot Brake Valve.

Broad application coverage with a lean product

range
Pressure Modulator Valves are installed in front of the brake
actuators. Each circuit requires a Pressure Modulator Valve to
individually control pressure to its respective brake actuator
so that

• locking of the wheel is prevented (ABS) as well as

• spinning of the wheel is reduced (ASR) and

• the vehicle is stabilized when the brake is applied

(e.g. integrated ESP in EBS5)

Knorr-Bremse Pressure Modulator Valves are constructed to

original equipment quality standards.

The range of products contains PMVs and rationalized PMVs including adapter cable. Both types have the latest
technology and quality features as to original equipment products.
