There is currently an ongoing discussion on what's the best

punishment for criminals. A lot of people say that they should be

punished in an aggressive way.

First of all, there are some better alternatives, like paying a fine. For
example, if you drove over the limit, you should get a fine, not be
sentenced to prison. The majority of people says that you should be
locked in the cell for 3 months. The cops disagreed with the jail
sentence.

Another point worth mentioning is that criminals can be taught to

behave in a better way by doing community service. In this way, they
will realize that the world they live in is such a magnificent place. Let's
say that you threw a plastic bottle on the street, or you didn't throw a
cigarette in the bin, for this type of things you should do a week of
community server, but, for example, if you burnt some trees in a forest,
you should do more than a year of community service.

It sounds horrible but the majority of people says that criminals, that
do unacceptable things, should be sentenced to death. This is a really
bad punishment, but murderers should deserve this. Killing someone is
super terrific.

After all, I think criminals should receive their punishment depending

on what they have done. Not all of them should receive the same thing
if they didn't do something that bad.
