Intranet
- intra meaning inside, ito po ay isang private network na ginagamit ng mga
organizations exclusively to their workforce,
ginagamit po ito to communicate, collaborate, share documents and other information
within the company

Wordpress. Kahit nga po tong
Microsoft teams pwede gawing intranet technically ma'am yung ginagawa natin ngayon

Extranet
- ito naman po yung oposite ng intranet instead na exclusive lang sa employee's
within a company, nagkakaroon ng
access yung mga tao na hindi nasa company as long as authorized sila, example nito
is yung mga partners, vendor,
suppliers o yung mga authorized na customers

Network security
- Kaylangan nang large organization or any organization na magkaroon ng good
network security para hindi ma leak yung
mga informations na nasa companya at other threats na pwedeng mangyare.

Under naman ng Network security ay Firewall, IDS, at VPN

Firewall
- it acts as a filter to control traffic entering or leaving your network. Ang main
pupose po nito is to allow trusted traffic
to flow and to keep bad traffic from accessing or leaving a internal network.

May two types of firewall Hardware at firewall

And Hardware firewall ay mas efficient gamitin kase kaya mong controlin yung

as long as properly configured ito while ang software firewall ay medyo time
consuming especially sa mga companies dahil kaylangan mo pa

Intrusion Detection System (IDS)

- Parang similar lang po siya sa antivirus software pero widespread siya at network
based instead of protecting an individual computer.
Tapos kapag may na detect na something suspicious si IDS magsesend kaagad ito ng
alert sa network admins
Virtual Private Networks (VPN)
- Parang mask po siya sa mga network traffic ng isang company para hindi ma tract
ng ISP o unknown sources kung anong pinaggagawa nila.
