Clients: Hinch and Lunhow

A.J. Hinch and Jeff Lunhow walked into the Astros organization with the same passion as
millions of young men in America. In 2012, the two combined their passion and intelligence to
create innovative training methods that allowed a struggling Astros organization to evolve into a
winning team. Along the way, that intelligence was abused, and the integrity of the game was
compromised. This is something Hinch and Luhnow did not intend and do not condone.
Hinch and Lunhow had a clear goal to bring success to the Astro organization, which they
accomplished by using technology as a tool for strategic recruiting methods and smarter training,
not for foul play.
My clients deeply apologize for failing to recognize this issue in the organization and accept
responsibility for their lack of action. Moving forward, they will advocate to end the issue
throughout the MLB and are looking to use their intelligence to bring integrity back to the sport
they love.
