Critical thinking:

Technology can be used in the classroom to encourage critically thinking skills. One of my main focuses
as a teacher is providing tools to my students that encourage them to critically think about situations. I
plan to implement many interactive activities that can stimulate student interest and help them engage
with the material to improve their understanding of the lessons. I plan on using technology as a tool to
show my students multiple representations of complex concepts and procedures on many different
platforms to help them gain InSite and reach a clear understanding of these concepts. Using technology
as a tool in the classroom will give the students the opportunity to have many different learning
environments that can increase student achievement and encourage critical thinking in and out of the
classroom.
