HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank' has released the National Institutional

Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2020 rankings on June 11. NIRF is a methodology that is

used to rank the top colleges in the country on the basis of some parameters. NIRF

2020 ranking engineering have included 35 engineering colleges of Tamil Nadu in the

list of top 200 engineering colleges in the country. NIRF was approved by the MHRD

and launched by the then Minister of Human Resource Development on September
