EXPLANATIONS:

Good morning/afternoon/evening everyone. My report for today is about the PRINCIPLES IN THE
ORGANIZATION OF LEARNING CONTENT.

First of all, let us review kung ano ang definition ng Organization. According sa Merriam Webster
Dictionary, organization is defined as the act or process of putting the different parts of something in a
certain way so that they can be found or used easily. Organization can be a noun or a verb, organization
na noun is an entity na kinabibilangan ng isa or higit pang tao and having a same purpose but ang topic
natin ngayon is the verb na organization which is from the word organize, act of putting things together,
pagsasaayos ng mga bagay into a way na magagamit natin sya effectively.

In teaching, organization is a very important factor sa pagdedesign ng curriculum due to certain reasons.

Una and most important is that, ang content ng currciculum should be organize para maensure natin na
madali syang maiintindihan ng mga students and in an effective manner. It should be designed to cater
ung level ng understanding ng bawat estudyante. And also, organization is also important para ma make
sure natin na ung mga learning objectives natin is naaachieve.

So ano anong mga principles ang dapat natin tandan to make sure na organize ang content ng
curriculum.

Una, is Balance. This means the equitable and fair distribution of content among the different levels of
instruction. Inaadvise ang teacher to balance the distribution per grading considering the number of
units and time allotment. The teacher should make sure na lahat ng topics ay matacle and madistribute
fairly within sa grading periods and sa terms. No topics should be left behind and nabigyan ng enough
time to discuss and understand by the students.

Second is Articulation. This is defined as the provisions for establishing the vertical linkage from level to
level. This means that the topics/content na nalearn ng mga students in a lower level can be used or
magagamit nila in learning the topics in the higher level. That’s why meron tayong, English 1, 2 etc. Say
for example, ung tamang paggamit ng subject and predicate na natutunan nila in a lowe level can be
used to learn how to compose a sentence, a paragraph or an essay in the higher level.

Sequence. The sequential and graded arrangement of subject matter. This basically means that teacher
should organized the topics from the level of difficulty and complexity. From easy, hard to difficult. Ung
mga topics na less difficult should be discussed in the lowest level and so on and so forth.

Integration. the horizontal link of content in subject areas. If articulation is vertical linkage, itong
integration naman is horizontal linkage of subject areas. This means na dapat nagbeblend ung
curriculum content of several subjects into a related subject para maavoid natin ung tinatawag na
compartmentalization or ung conflict ng ideas into one another. If may related topics into several
subject it should be consistent into one another at hindi nagkakasalungat ang mga ideas.

Lastly is Continuity. Very important the magkaroon ng constant repetition, review and reinforcement of
learning. That is why may mga test tayo to determine the level of understanding ng students. And at the
same time, since we make sure na interrelated ang mga subjects into different levels and ung mga
naintindihan at napag-aralan in a lower level is magagamit in a higher level, continues review is very
important.

Our last topic is about references. References follows the content. And it tells where the content or
subject matter has been taken. In short, the sources ng mga content natin. There are different sources, it
can be a book, a module, publication of internet sources or materials. References should be cited
properly para maavoid ang plagiarism. And ung mga internet sources, we should make sure na legit ito
at hindi fake news lang.
