Answer the following questions:

There are no right or wrong answers, you just have to express your point of view.
1. Is this SWOT Analysis still applicable today?
Whether your answer is yes or no, explain in detail why it is so.

For me it is a Yes, the SWOT Analysis that Apple applied was still existed today. Upon
reading the article provided, we could see how the apple grow with the use of these kind of strategy,
namely Five Forces of Analysis or Porter’s Model. I could see that Apple Inc. always look for their
weak spot and how they could give their best shot for every customer they could consume, like
every entrepreneur or businessman does. As we know every entrepreneur/ businessman always
give the best quality and so much to offer, because they want to earn and that was their goal. We
could not say that we could earn by giving low quality or not good products, because the chances
are, it would end to failure, so it is much better to give all what you could give and always look
for an opportunity like what Apple Inc. applied strategy. Like for instance, Apple wants the
customer not to buy lots of gadgets like digital camera for good images or landline for phone calls,
so they can make their brand phone having both power: high quality camera with a better quality
for phone calls.

2. There is a rumor that Apple will move to India from China.

Will Apple maintain its competitive advantage over other competitive forces?
Competitive forces mean Porter’s 5 Forces Model.
Discuss the reason or reasons behind it.

For me it is just a rumor, so basically it was not final or legit, but if that was true, I think
it will maintain its competitive advantage over other competitive forces. Why? Because why to
change strategy if the strategy was already effective, perfected, and trusted, so changing the
strategy would make the IPhone Inc. in a critical condition or brink of failure. Porter’s 5 Forces
Model, was used by IPhone Inc. since the 2007 until today 2020, so 18 years is a good indication
that it was a very useful strategic plan than others.
