A Place where I Love to Spend Time

As said by Albert Einstein – “Look deep into nature and then you will understand
everything better.” This statement holds particularly true in my case. A place
where I love to spend time is the local beach just a few blocks away from my
home.

Every time I’m held captive in a whirlwind of emotions or stress, I go to my escape

zone – The Golden Beach. Though there are many other spots within the area, this
beach is the least inhabited, and yet my favorite. The endless golden sand stretches
as far as the eyes can go and the water, though lifeless itself, fills the beach with
life.

My favorite time to visit the beach is during late nights though; it is because the
silence at that time allows one to hear the lullaby sung by the waves. Also, there is
something magnificent about the way the water illustrates the beauty of the cold
and lifeless moon. And yet, tranquility can be found within it as it signifies the
brightness amidst the gloomy darkness.

While walking over the cold water, the delicate splashes soothe the nerves down
while the smell of the salty beach water fills one up with a freshness which can not
be induced in any other way. The gentle breeze that nudges one is the most content
feeling one can get.
I particularly like to focus my attention into the color of the sand and the water.
The details captured within them in mesmerizing. Despite the deep navy-blue color
of the water at nighttime, it glistens due to the moonlight and the twinkling stars
place right above it. During the nighttime, the golden sand allows one to lie down
and gaze at the never-ending constellations that fills up the sky whilst finding
comfort within the velvety sand .

I can go on and on about the sheer beauty of the beach and yet not finish. It’s
almost as if words are not enough to describe this glorious yet serene place. As the
endless darkness spreads at night, I lay there comfortably forgetting every
whirlwind within me.
