Parque Lleras (El Poblado)

More than a space with green places, in Lleras Park, one of the attractions of
the city of Medellín, you will find shops, restaurants, bars, cafes and
nightclubs. This area of the El Poblado neighborhood, better known as Lleras
Town, offers tourists a wide range of restaurants where you can taste
everything from typical Antioquia gastronomy to international food.
Parque Arví
The park houses an auditorium and a food court where musical events are
held throughout the year. It also has two birdwatching towers, trails and
paths, natural viewpoints towards the Aburrá valley and the Guarne and Seca
lagoons. You can also enjoy the Arví Market.
Aeroparque Juan Pablo II

The facilities have a square with a coliseum and an acoustic shell where
musical and cultural events are held outdoors or on covered stages. If you
want to practice water sports, there are a large number of pools, with wave
slides and pulleys, as well as a semi-Olympic pool and another educational
pool for children, where they offer swimming courses, as well as
Hydroaerobics.
Museo El Castillo (El Poblado)

Located in the El Poblado neighborhood is the El Castillo de Medellín


Museum, an institution dedicated to the decorative arts and one of the most
important historical places in Medellín .. The building, declared a museum in
1972 and designed by the architectural firm HM Rodríguez in 1930, is
inspired by the Gothic castles of the Loire Valley in France.
Parque Explora

It is a theme park dedicated to science and technology, which also has an


aquarium and a planetarium.
Pueblito Paisa

El Pueblito Paisa is a replica of a typical 20th century Antioquia town


It is one of the places to eat in Medellín, also to buy handicrafts and walk

Jardín Botánico de Medellín
One of the most emblematic tourist places in Medellín for nature lovers is
the Joaquín Antonio Uribe Botanical Garden. It is located very close to the

Cemetery Museum, the Municipal Planetarium, the House of Music and

Plaza Botero (La Candelaria)

Botero Square is the main attraction of the Pink City, as Medellín is also
known, where you can enjoy the largest collection of the artist's works. Here
23 works are arranged, including 'The Hand', 'Man and Horse', 'Eva', 'Seated
Woman', 'Maternity', 'Walking Man', 'Roman Soldier', 'Horse', 'Dog' , 'Cat'
and 'Sphinx'.
Museo de Antioquia (La Candelaria)

If you are a lover of Botero and other Colombian artists, you should visit the
Museo de Antioquia de Medellín, a national monument that opened its doors
in 1981. Here you can enjoy the largest collection of Fernando Botero, as well
as personal and historical objects of characters important of the zone, a
sample of archeology with artifacts and indigenous pieces.
Zoológico de Santa Fe
For nature lovers looking for somewhere to hang out in Medellín, the Santa
Fe Zoo is a mandatory stop. It is home to more than 200 species and you will
have the possibility to explore the natural life of zebras, anteaters, lions, the
needle caiman, the condor of the Andes, the eagle owl, the anaconda, the
lions, Bengal tigers, harpy eagles and hippos .
