R.MCA 6 :
(A) Standard of Passing for those candidates who have admitted to the MCA programme from first year :-
To pass a examination, a candidate must obtain-
i) a minimum 40% marks in each head of passing excepting aggregate and,
ii) a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate.
(B) Standard of Passing for those candidates who have admitted directly to MCA second year through Lateral Entry:-
To pass a examination, a candidate must obtain-
i) a minimum 40% marks in each head of passing of MCA second year (Part III &IV ), and final year (PartV&VI ) examinations excepting aggregate and shall have to successfully
complete the Bridge course as prescribed by the University Authorities and,
ii) a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate form second & third year.
R. MCA 7 :

No class shall be awarded to any part of examination.

The award of class for the degree of MCA shall be based on the aggregate of marks obtained at the second year (Part III &IV ) and final year (Part V & VI ) examinations taken
together as under:

45% and above but less than 50%- Pass Class

50% and above but less than 60%- II class
60% and above but less than 70%- I class
70% and above. - I class
with distinction .

[Note: The equivalence shall be granted to the MCA degree holders (directly admitted to second year of MCA through lateral entry) with MCA of this university or any
other recognised Indian university and these candidates shall be held eligible for Higher Education and Employment. The university should allot transcript to such
students on the basis of statement of marks of second and final year MCA programme and the marks obtained in Bridge course, taken together. However, the marks
obtained in Bridge course shall be converted into the score out of 1400 for the purpose of transcript]
