ROLE : ASSOCIATE SOFTWARE ENGINEER
There were two technical rounds and one HR round. Every round started with brief
introduction about myself.
Technical Exam : (Duration 90 min)
 This round consists of aptitude, verbal, logical, technical questions and 2 coding
questions.
 Technical questions are related to OOP's, Data Structures. One of the coding question is
to check whether any route is possible from starting point to point (given by user),
subjected to given conditions( XY Plane).
 Second coding question is to calculate minimum number of iterations required for
equalizing the two different numbers using powers of '2’ .
 Only the qualified students are moved to next round.
Technical round 1: (This round lasted for 50 minutes)
Firstly, I was asked to introduce myself. Always prepare your intro very well. It decides the
direction of your interview.
They asked about my projects and related questions on that.
Then a coding question was given, implementation of merge sort. Then I was asked some oops
concepts and questions on strings like string declaration, comparison of two strings.
Some basic numericals like GCD calculation, decimal to binary conversion and a question on
time and work. Asked about SQL Joins and given a SQL query on that. So, basically I was
tested on basic concepts of DBMS and programming languages.
Technical round 2: (This round lasted for 25 min)
Introduce yourself.
Asked about my project and some resume-based questions.
OOPS concepts. (Instead of learning the interview questions for interviews, learn with practical
implementation just with a small example for each topic.)
Also having knowledge about current trending technologies will be helpful.
HR round:
It was very general, more like a friendly discussion rather than an interview. They basically check
your attitude and communication skills.
He asked few things about my family and education life.

Where do you want to see yourself in 5 years?
Tips: Be confident, Be firm about the topics and projects mentioned in your resume. If you
don’t know anything just tell you don’t know or ask time to think if you can recollect. All the
best!.
