What are the Elemeny Fiction

When writer create fiction, they use these step to develop their story

When + Where =The Setting

When you create the story, you must know when the story take a place

Who = Character

Character are the people, animal, and creatures in a story

There are 2 type of character

The Protagonist : the good guy, main character or the hero in a story

The Antagonist: the bad guy, or evil and villain in a story

Every character have traits that make them unique. These are called character traits

For instance

If there is an evil vampire who is selfish, mean, and scary, we can predict that the mother would not
allow the vampire to babysit her child now or in the future. Also, we can infer that she doesn't
particularly like the vampire because he isn't friendly.

Plot

Plot is the sequence of event that happen in a story

Exposition

This is part of the plot. Both the character and the setting aren introduced in the exposition

For example

Character: There are 2 boys and one ghost

Setting: We can infer that it is halloween and the boys are in the city

Conflict
Conflict is the problem in the story. The conflict is addressed after the eexposition.

What the conflict in this stoty?

One boy seems to be angry and yelling at the ghost. Perhaps the conflict is that the ghost is
bothering the boy and he want the ghost to go away

Rising Action

The event that lead up to the climax

The rising action build suspense and develop the conflict

Rising aaction

More ghost arrive and the boys even more angry yet the other boy is still happy

Another Rising Action

Meanwhile, the Ghostville bus is headed to town to pick up all the ghost

Climax

The turning point in the story. The conflict is resolved and the story gets better for protagonis

Ghost: Excuse me, but we are trying to get back to Ghostville, we need candy to buy bus ticket

Happy boy: Here, you can have some of my candy

Climax = Our problem is solved

As we can see the ghost not trying to harm the boys. They only needed candy to get back to
Ghostville

Falling Action

All the loose end of the conflict are tied up. The story comes to an ending

The Ghost take the candy and load up on the bus headed to Ghostville

Resolution

The ending of the story

Before the ghost leave the city, they exchanged Snapchat information with the boys and they all
kept in touch.
