A slurry is simply a combination of cornstarch and water
used to thicken a gravy or sauce.
What you need is an equal parts of water and starch. It
can be cornstarch or arrowroot. It can be pretty much any starch you want but cornstarch is the most common because it’s the easiest to work with.
What you need to do is take first the water and pour it into a container and then you take your cornstarch, and pour it also into the container and then you stir it.
Sometimes, you have to whip a little longer to make sure
there are no lumps and when it’s done, it should be very thin and look exactly like that it should look like milk.
