The bump is used for more control, used with the forearms. A volley is used with the tips
of our fingers and can help set up the middle and outside hitter for a spike. A spike is
used with the palm of our hand and is used when we are returning the ball over to the
other team.

32. Explain two ways to get yourself prepared to play a volleyball game that will promote
a better outcome. (S, T)

Warm up- making sure to have a good warm up before practicing or playing a
game.

Eating/drinking water- making sure to be well hydrated before and after a


game/practice.

Objectives

Reflection

This test is reliable, I reduced the bias by incorporating the use of bloom's taxonomy which allows for the
students to be tested using the 6 cognitive objectives which are, knowledge, comprehension, application,
analysis, synthesis and evaluation. This test also follows the SHAPE Michigan Standards lesson
objectives for 8th grade. I made sure that the content of the test matches the instructional objectives that
were taught before the test, also making sure that the students had access to the same information that
they were going to be tested on and this is why it is an example of content-related validity.
