Subject: Research Proposal: Are doctors being replaced with artificial intelligence?

Topic description: AI over doctors? Will technology take over medicine? Technology is

advancing so much that artificial intelligence may take over the health industry. So many buffers

can happen within the science of technology, some type of human interaction needs to take

place. Can these machines really relate to sick patients? Can these machines see signs of disease

and treat patients with proper doses of medicine? Technology has help us evolve tremulously

since the 15th century. Inventions such as x-rays, thermometer, artificial organs, and so many

more has help save millions of lives. I feel as if there should be a medium between human

interaction and artificial intelligence within the medical field.

Purpose: My major is biomedical sciences, and this relates to me because I want to become a

doctor and the impact that technology has may change the medical field forever. 
Intended audience: Right now, individuals around the world are being impacted with the corona

virus however the question of technology always comes to question. Many people are not sure of

Covid vaccinations due to high technology there is a vaccine soon to come but, is this too soon?

Research Question / Preliminary Thesis / Argument: Not there yet. Will there be any human

doctors in the year 2075? Will everything be remote?

Types of research areas: I will include evidence from all three areas of inquiry: scholarly,

internet, and field research. I feel as if scholarly is reliable to use when citing evidence in the

medical field you want your evidence to be as accurate as possible. Field research will give me

credibility because it shows real life conduced evidence toward my argument.

Not there yet, however I’m going to use tertiary, primary, and secondary sources to defend my

argument so I can have validity.
