The European Union is an economic and political union, which consist of 27 member of states,
based in Europe. The EU has worked to increase economies and human rights world wide, the
goals of the EU are uniting common goals and providing aid to developing countries

Advantage of being part


of the EU:
- High reduction of war
probability
- Increase Trade
- Increased country specialization
- All European countries entering the EU are bound to restrictions that are preferred to their
economy and development
- Most under the same currency ( The Euro ) which eliminates exchange rates and favors rate
(European Exchange Rate Mechanism)
- Europe strengthens each member country because it is bound to other member countries and is
therefore stronger against other economies
- Europeans can move around freely within the EU and seek jobs in other countries than their own

Disadvantages of being part of the EU


- Potential Cultural displacement
- Too much focus on Euro trade, potential loss of International trade
- May cause loss of independence
- Increase Tariff and Increase legislation
