Idioms Set Four Example Sentences

Listen to the accompanying MP3 and read these sentences. This will train your brain to
master these idioms.

Go the extra mile = to put in extra effort when you do something


Keep an eye on someone/something = to watch or look after carefully
Have a short fuse = to become angry very easily
Hang in there = to stay determined in a difficult situation
