POSITION PAPER

Myanmar a country located at the southwest of Asia limiting with China on

the north, Laos and Thailand to the east and Bangladesh to the west. Myanmar
surged after the British took power of different “countries” that in reality were
just a group of cities under one ruler all across the territory of Myanmar, it
became a province of India, but the people of the Myanmar wanted liberty so
they started fighting, finally they got separated and the British reunited all
cities, but after the second world war Aung San reached the liberty of
Myanmar. The Economy is primly based on agriculture as most of the
population practice an agricultural labor.

One of the biggest problems of Myanmar is the migration of the citizens to

other countries because of the actual situation of the country. At this moment
Myanmar is facing Incredibles rates of poorness, the education is not too
good, many territories have been damaged by natural disasters among other
factors. This is an effect of the 2015 elections when Suu Kyi ascend to power,
this elections changed many cultural aspects and political aspects of the
country.

Solutions are pretty scare mainly the government of Myanmar is working on

fixing the politics stated by Suu Kyi in favor of the immigrants, also the
government is begin for help from other countries, also the government is
implementing different refugee programs to help the people that are migrating
in the borders.

A problematic that is affecting all Europe and Asia are the refugees from
Syria that are migrating to other countries to avoid the conflict. At the moment
the government of Myanmar is too busy dealing with the migrant problematic
so it can’t bring to much attention to the problematic in Syria.
After all the facts are shown, the government of Myanmar is not in the
capacity to help with the problematic on Syria, but if this problematic is
solved, the government will take action.
