FEEDBACK ON DIGITAL PORTFOLIO PROGRESS:

First off I’ve got to say that your site is very aesthetically pleasing. I like that the home page is
doubling as the about me page, that was a very smart choice!
On some of the pages you have, it has pictures of food or other non-related things, maybe
replace those with something like “page in progress” or something that denotes that the
page is not complete yet?
As far as your observations go, how cool is it that your theme is storytelling and your first
observation included your CT telling a scary story??!
I love how you pointed out that despite the classroom feeling hectic, it was still a space
where students could thrive. Not all classrooms need to be super quiet and all that, and I
think this is especially applicable with younger students in the art room!
Definitely appreciate the way the teacher displayed demos after they were completed, it
serves as a visual cue for students to remember what they learned!
One thing that you could include in your reflections is instead of having a works cited page
for one source, you can highlight the name of your school and right click on it, and then add a

hyperlink by copying and pasting the website you sourced from! Just a suggestion, there’s
nothing wrong with the way you did it!
I definitely encourage you to add some ongoing research, this can include things from Dr.
Acuff’s class, books you’ve read that may inform your teaching, techniques from your own
teachers in the past that you would like to include, education blogs/ podcasts you may be
interested in. I saw in your about me that you are interested in Queer Rights and Mental
Health Awareness, maybe look into educators who have integrated similar ideas into their
classrooms and subscribe to their newsletters, watch their videos, or whatever works for
you! There’s a surge of research and resources on mental health in the classroom, and I’m
sure there are some incredible things you can find to help you achieve your goal
