Theme - Birth of a Nation/ A New Dawn


Class-V (Session 20-21)
General instructions: Date: 07.12.20 -11.12.20
*Make a word document (not more than 1 page) according to your roll number and the topic
assigned.
* Research and write interesting, relevant facts and information.
*Add/paste relevant pictures.
* Each child will send their word document to the leader who will compile it into a PDF file.
*The names and roll numbers of all the members of the group should be mentioned on the title
page
* Use Calibri/ Times New Roman as the theme font. Font size for heading will be 16 and for the
content will be 14.
*Each child in the group will also speak a few lines (one minute) about their topic and parents to
record a video clip.
*The leader of the group is supposed to compile videos of all the children and email to the
subject teacher by 14 Dec 2020.
*The compiled video clip should not be of more than 5 minutes.

Topic- Model Booklet of the Constitution of India (Roll no. 1 to 5)

1. Design a cover page

GROUP-II

Topic- Design a Booklet of Class Constitution (Roll no. 6 to 10)

6. Design a cover page of your class constitution.


7. Write a preamble to class constitution ( resolve to make class V into the most well behaved,
most loved, secular, socialist, democratic class and to secure for its students………)
8. Rights of students in the school.
9. Duties of students in the school.
10. Write a brief history of DPS, NOIDA.
GROUP-III

Topic- Union/Central Government of India (Roll no. 11 to 15)

11. Design a cover page with a collage of the Prime Ministers of India since independence.
12. Definition of Democracy. Three largest democracies in the world and their leaders.
13. The Parliament of India and its two houses
14. The first and the present President of India. (paste pictures and write few lines about them)
15. The first and the present Prime Minister of India.(paste pictures and write few lines about

Topic- State Governments in India (Roll no. 16 TO 20)

16. Design a cover page with the map of India (all its States and Union Territories) Highlight the
state in which your school is located with your favourite colour.
