I am applying for this financial aid as i am a student and i dont have any proper source of income to

afford such high quality educational certifications. I am from a small town in Uttar Pradesh in India
where such great tools for enhancing educational qualifications doesn't exist. My parents don't earn
much to provide me with amount required for this course as they are already paying for my college
tuition fees and other amenities so the disparity can be represented by below statistics-

MY PARENT'S ANNUAL INCOME- 3300 USD

MY COLLEGE TUITION FEE-670 USD

HOSTEL EXPENSES- 400 USD

MISSC-200 USD

They also have to provide for my 3 siblings and their education and funding for this course will cause
financial burden and economic hardship to my family and me. Such online educational resources are
very very difficult to find in my area and especially resources of such high standards.

I have been interested in field of machine learning for a long time due to its prominence in industry in
modern world.

I have also built my expertise on languages like python and R which are extensively used in machine
learning and data science. I have also worked on my probability and statistics basics in order to
understand this course properly and be prepared mentally. This course will help me add a certification
to my CV/RESUME for college placements so that i can a decent job in domain and support my family
financially.

This course will help me pursue my career in machine learning and data science in future and further
excel in the field . This will be a boost to me as i already have a prerequisite knowledge to start this
course

I also wanted to specialize in this field and such prestigious certification by STANFORD will help me
achieve it.

I dont have a proper source of income as i am a student and paying any amount for this course would
cause economic hardship to my parents. I am financially weak and but after being funded for this course
i will definitely contribute to coursera community.
