OFD2 Metrology Checklist:

 Install Seabed COMPATTS 201 (S1) ,202 (S2), and 203(S3), Pipeline COMPATT 212 at P1, Riser
Flange COMPATT 210 (Parachute cord facing SE), Install Pipeline Flange COMPATT 211
(Parachute cord facing NW)
 Gyro Readings – R1 3 data sets of 3 minutes each (turn gyro 180° after each set), F1 - 3 data
sets of 3 minutes each (turn gyro 180° after each set). Log a separate text file for each data
set.
 Digiquartz Loops – Check Digiquartz is zeroed on deck (within 1 or 2cm).Don’t start a
digiquartz Loop if you don’t think it can be completed before the end of the bell run. Talk
to dive control and explain the situation. Log a separate 3 minute txt file at each location.
Record each stop and start in the survey log. Check that the diver has the sensor on the
correct point. See attached sheet for Loops to complete.
 USBL Fixes S1 and S2 (150 fixes). S3, P1, F1, R1 (100 fixes). QC and Print to pdf
 COMPATT Inclinometer Data – At Least 3 sets of readings on R1 and F1 – record readings in
survey log
 Before start of acoustics - Speed of Sound updating every 10 mins from 202 or 203
 Quad Array Adjustment
 Acoustic Baseline Array Adjustment
