November 9, 2015
1. The month of November, with its Solemnity of All Saints on November 1 and the
Commemoration of the Faithful Departed on November 2, reminds us of the communion
of Saints which we profess every time we pray the Creed. It reminds us of our fellowship
with our brothers and sisters who are now in heaven and with those who are still being
purified in purgatory. It also calls to mind our own vocation to holiness.
2. Thus, when we celebrate their feasts and read their lives, we are also challenged
to strive to live saintly lives, following the will of God in everything we think, say and do.
4. All the three departments (GS, HS and college) will take part in this activity. For
the High School Department, each section will have one entry featuring their own class
patron saint. The Grade School and College Departments will also present their own
chosen saints.
5. During the program, the life of the particular saint will be read while one person
(pupil/student) will take the role of the assigned saint, attired accordingly. Other
participants will portray the important events in the life of the saint.
6. Each department will take charge of the selection of the lead characters and
other necessary preparations.
