SPOONS Rules

Clear off playing surface.

Select one less spoon than there are number of players – that is 4 players = 3
spoons, 6 players = 5 spoons. Lay out spoons so that each player can easily
reach a spoon.

Randomly select a dealer who shuffles and deals each player 4 cards.

Each player attempts to get 4 cards of the same value – that is four 2-cards, four
kings, for 6-cards or any other card in the deck. Note: Disregard the color or suit of
the cards.

Players may only have 4 cards in their hand at one time.

Play begins with the dealer who removes the top card(s) from the remaining deck, looks at
it, makes a decision to keep or discard said card. The discarded
card(s) is then passed on to the next player who follows the same
process. Play is continuous – the dealer continues to look at a
card, make a decision, and passes a card. The last person to
receive discarded cards will make a pile of his/her discarded cards to be reused by dealer if
the original deck is fully depleted.

Once 1 player has gotten four of a kind, he/she picks up a spoon. This signals
all other players to grab for a spoon. Only 1 player has to actually get 4 of a
kind.

The player who gets four of a kind and gets the first spoon, receives a gem.

That player who did not get a spoon must leave that table and join another table in their
next game.

The deal is passed to the next player, who beings a new game.
