 Analyze the health situation for different contexts in the health problems that
arise from the relationship between geopolitics, the environment, health
determinants and sustainable development

 Raise a problem situation that occurs in a specific population and a human

disease caused by environmental impact.

 Explain the causes and impacts on human health of the chosen problem
and epidemiological data associated with mortality, morbidity and severity of
the disease

 CONCLUSIONS

The lack of access to public services in specific sectors determines the burden of
disease as they are determinant variables of the health status of a population.

Every year in the world about 2 million children under the age of five die from ADD.
In Colombia, it is the third leading cause of death in children under five years of
age and the fourth in children under one year of age, which constitutes a challenge
for the health system.

As can be seen in the graph, EDA was considered within the national priorities
established by the Ministry of Health and Social Protection in the Ten-Year Plan
2012-2021
