EDTS041 REV.-B Specification for Battery Charging Unit, 200A, 130Volt for Self Generation Air Conditioned Coaches 1.0 SCOPE 1.1 This specification covers the design, manufacturing and supply of battery charging unit required for fitment on under frame of self generating ait- conditioned coaches for charging a battery bank consisting of 56 cells of 1100 Ah capacity VRLA batteries while the coach is stationery, receiving the power from the external soutce of supply of 3- phase 415 volts, 50HZ. 4.2. This specification i.e. EDTS041 Rev.-B has been made inline with the earlier spec. no. EDTS041 Rev.-A incorporating the ICF amendments -1 & 2 and modifications mentioned in note no.
