1)
a) Men :
● Men are always told from a young age that they have to go into professions that
involve cognitive skills such as engineering.
● They have to bear the expectations of being the sole earners in the house so
they are more driven towards professions that earn more money like engineers,
doctors etc.
● Men are usually seen doing more analytical jobs seeing that they are better at
maths and finance.
● Based on their physical traits men are seen more in the construction department.
● Professions related to arts like Fashion designing are more associated with
women in the society so men avoid such professions.
b) Women​ :
● Women mostly choose the teaching jobs as they have a trait of raising children
● They also choose professions like nursing jobs as these jobs are more
emotionally driven.
● In a society like ours women often choose to work while staying at home such as
home cooking.
● Women are more creative and based on that they are more into the fashion and
designing industry which can also include interior designing or house planning.
c) Society plays a major role in this disparity as it defines the roles for each gender. Boys
are told that they have to choose professions like engineering doctors as they are
defined more men like and girls are told to choose professions which are based at home
or become a doctor

Men:-
1- Weaknesses:-
a) Emotionless - Men are generally considered to be emotionless which plays a vital role in
corporations. Being empathetic towards the employees is a very important and major
factor in keeping the employees motivated and sometimes men are not the one for the
job.
b) Social Stereotypes - Social pressure on men to work and behave in a certain way. ‘Boys
don’t cry’ is a perfect example on how men are pressured to live their lives in a certain
way. They are pressured upon to work and earn because they will be the sole earners in
the family.

2- Strengths:-

a) Physicality - Men are naturally more physically stronger than women. This physicality
comes into play into certain areas. For example, most bodyguards are usually men and
not women.
b) Works better under pressure - Men have better practice and their mind is built up in a
way that they work better under pressure. For example, as stated in the case study men
are better at solving math problems than women. This example can be taken into real life
context as men are able to solve problems better than women due to certain factors and
one of those factors is that they are able to work better under pressure.
Women:-
1- Weaknesses:-
a) Emotional - Naturally, most women are known to be more emotional as compared to
men. Being emotional has its drawbacks and the decisions they make can be clouded by
their emotions. Hence, leading to a poor choice because of them choosing what they
want rather than choosing what is right.
b) Lack of Self-Esteem - Most of the women do not do well under pressure and when
someone from the society criticizes them they start believing all that is said to them. This
leads to a lower self morale.
2- Strength:-
a) Hard-working - Women are considered to be better at achieving their goals and aims,
and most of them are more diligent compared to men.They have a higher capacity to
work hard in a domestic areas.However we can say in most cases women are more
productive than men but they are rewarded less than men for their achievements.
b) Better at speaking and written skills- Women are normally better at writing reports,
making presentations in a corporation and are better at communicating within an
organization, they are also able to engage more in certain situations as compared to
men.
