CC Purpose​: The purpose of the Curriculum Council is to facilitate the development, implementation, and
maintenance of the district’s curriculum cycle, to include feedback and recommendations on courses,
district-level programs, and graduation requirements. We provide feedback and make recommendations.

Action Planning Ideas:


● Group 1 - Culturally Responsive Teaching/Curriculum, Tracking
(Honors/AP classes); focus on personal growth; grading/curriculum;
“how do we recreate/rewrite what “future ready” means
● Group 2 - put a timeline to a cycle that we do a comprehensive
review of courses (including Honors/AP); publish timeline; seek
feedback from different groups; speak to ongoing work happening in
our district regarding materials, curriculum, course outlines; obstacle
for getting into ​AP classes
● Group 3 - audit for ​courses of study​ with an equity focus; how do we
wrap more teachers into this work?
● Group 4 - Given hybrid learning, what changes in instructional modes
need to occur? In terms of social emotional needs, what opportunities
can we provide students of all academic abilities.
