Signature Assignment Part 1: Introduction

I selected the subculture “animal rescue” because I love animals and had the opportunity to
make a difference in their lives. I decided to go on this topic because many people like me feel
that animals deserve a better quality of life and that they are the best company one can ask. I
can say that giving shelter and volunteering is one of the best things I could do in my
experience.

During this pandemic, a few cats stopped in my grandma’s house and settled there. They were
around 6 months old, but they were not sterilized; therefore, my mom and I decided to save
some money to fix six cats and two dogs plus vaccines. There are animal shelters and people
who like animals, and in the future, I want to keep being one of them.

One of the essential things about animal rescuers is to teach the public that adoption is
always better than buy. I thought this website would greatly help if a person wants to
adopt or give temporary shelter. I cannot provide temporary shelter because, in the end, I
cannot let them go.

For my last citation, I will include the Human Society of the United States. This
organization helps a lot of animals and gives them a good quality of life. A regular person
can donate or volunteer here. Many organizations help animals, but I will include this
because I adopted my pets from here. This is a good place if you want to adopt, fix, and
vaccine them.
