First, I want to say that this TV series seemed boring to me after the first 10

minutes of the first episode. I almost wanted to abandon it, because I considered
it a waste of time. But, my opinion about it would change radically.
The action started to be very gripping , breathtaking sequences that leave you in
suspense and make you watch episode after episode.

Set on the fictional continents of Westeros and Essos, Game of Thrones has a large
ensemble cast and follows several story arcs. One arc is about the Iron Throne of
the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros and follows a web of alliances and conflicts among
the noble dynasties, either vying to claim the throne or fighting for independence
from it. Another focuses on the last descendant of the realm's deposed ruling
dynasty, who has been exiled to Essos and is plotting a return to the throne. A
third story arc follows the Night's Watch, a brotherhood defending the realm
against the fierce peoples and legendary creatures of the North.

The medieval theme, the idea of war, the very compelling costumes , take you as if
in the world that hides beyond the screen.
What makes this series so special is the theme, the message it conveys, the endless
suspense, the instill of the desire to want more and more. The characters play
naturally, as if everything had happened to them and a camera caught that.
Also, the special effects, used to animate those mythical characters or creatures
that are certainly unimaginable, cause you spine-tingling , a horrible pleasure if
I may say so, made to be so credible, staggering and spectacular.
Indeed, some sequences are depressing, due to the losses that the characters have
throughout the series, and those are thought-provoking but that doesn't stop you
from continuing to watch "the show".

For me, this series was and will be my favorite, because I can't forget how much I
look forward to the appearance of the new episodes. It was harder when it ended,
when I had to accept the idea that that was all.
I warmly recommend it to everyone and I guarantee that it is not a waste of time,
because you have a lot of things to learn from it and I think that defines a true
series.
