a. 1GR-FE Engine
i. The 1GR-FE engine is a 4.0 liter, 24 valve DOHC V6 engine. This engine uses a Dual Variable Valve Timing intelligent
(Dual VVT-i) system, Direct Ignition System (DIS), and Electronic Throttle Control System intelligent (ETCS-i). These
control functions achieve improved engine performance, fuel economy, and clean emissions.
