5. A kennel has 125 dogs in total, some are puppies and some are adult dogs. The
ratio of puppies to adult dogs in a kennel is 2 : 3. How many adult dogs are there?

6. Here are the ingredients needed to make a smoothie for 5 people:


320ml cranberry juice, 240g raspberries, 180ml milk, 400ml natural yoghurt, 4
tbsp sugar.
a. How much cranberry juice would be needed to make the smoothie for 8 people?
b. How much milk would be needed for 2 people?
c. Write the ingredient list for 15 people.

7. Morgan and Kira have a number of jelly beans in a ratio of 5 : 8. If Kira and
Morgan have 91 jelly beans, how many jelly beans does each of them have?
