2. His older sister who goes to FIU
3. His dad who is the owner of a plumbing company

3 Choose one person out of nine and interview them about their

job. Email or call them to ask if you can have a ten-minute
conversation about their work.
The person I am interviewing is my close friend’s mom’s college professor.

1. Ask them three Strong Questions about their job. For

example, you might ask: "What kind of training is required for
your position?"
1. What is your main objective at ISU?
2. What are the requirements of being a college professor in your profession?
3. What characteristics are required for your job?
Answers-

1. The main objective for my job is to oversee the IT department at ISU, this includes managing all
the devices whether they need to be replaced or updated. I am also here to oversee the
progress of the students trying to obtain a Bachelor’s or Master’s in IT.
2. My position requires a Master’s or a PhD in IT and a Bachelor’s in teaching
3. Personally, I think that one of the most important things is to be confident in yourself and that
due to IT being a male-dominated profession, they will try to show you up for stupid reasons
and as a woman you can’t let that happen or they will just walk over you without thinking.
