Case Study Page 54

For our group, we have discussed and decided that the act of the man was
Immoral. Why would you marry someone you just met without seeing them
personally or meeting them personally? Because based on our perspective
marriage isn’t a simple thing, you really have to be sure that you have
found the partner you are willing to spend the rest of your lives whatever
he/she looks or they act, you have to know them first better.

Act Itself: Man sues his wife for being a fraud, saying that she doesn’t look
the same without make up, a trauma for him, and a “Psychological
Suffering”

Intention: The man wanted to get justice for what his wife has done, suing
her for £13,000, as he was frightened and thought she was with a thief.

- The act that the man showed was the third principle regarding intention.
“An act which is good in itself and is done with a bad end becomes bad”
For the man he thinks to himself suing his wife will protect him and will be
away from his wife, this is because she was a fraud, and a trauma to him,
preventing any harm to be made more. Now the act in this is good for itself.
But, why would you marry someone with just the looks? So the man is only
after the looks and now that the look is gone he was now frightened and
demanded to sue her, and thus resulting into a bad act itself.
