In the Living Christ article, 

in paragraph 12 it says, "We testify that He will someday return to earth.

“And
the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together” . This gave me a hope for the
future. As humans I think we all need some kind of motivation to do and keep on doing something. So to
me the fact that believing Christ will return is some amazing joy inside my heart and a motivation to do
good things everyday.  Someday in the past I read an article in the internet saying "Second coming of
Christ", in that article also they mentioned about this.

As apostle Dallin H Oaks mentioned in his talk there are two ways to communicate with the
Lord. So I think we can apply the same principle to get to know the Lord. In my experience, as a
person who converted to the church, believing in Christ helped me to get closer to him. I was
mentally down when I talked to the missionaries. The first day I went to the church I felt a so
refreshing feeling. I think believing in the Christ and learning struggles he had to go through, I
eventually realize that believing in future rather than giving up is the best way to be over come
struggles in life. 

Learning lessons from church leaders also a great way to open up our minds towards the
positivity rather than giving up. The lessons I learned through the Elders Quorum lessons were
really helped me to come to know the Lord and the Christ.    

The lesson I learned from Apostle Dallin H Oaks talk was Personal line of communication. I
always tried to talk to the leaders of my ward when I have problems. After hearing to this talk I
realized the power of the personal line of communication with the savior. Now I understand
personal decisions are some times more helpful as  I am the one who understand my problem
better than somebody else. It very fascinating to know that Holy Ghost is our personal channel of
communication with the lord. 

But I do understand the importance of the priesthood line too. As individualism will erase the
importance of divine authority. 

How long we have to wait till the second coming of Christ ?

If some one only communicate through the personal line with the Lord will that help him/her to
get closer to Christ. ?
