DECEMBER 13th, 2020

The progress I have made during this past week:

● Fixed Instagram account
● Created the first two posts on my Instagram account
● Started making criteria for my research paper

What I need to move forward with my Capstone (time, space, materials, contacts):
Moving forward I will need to put aside at least 5 hours throughout the week in order to
complete a good chunk of my project. I will need only my laptop to complete the upcoming parts
of my project. I hope to also get in contact with my community connection so that I can create

Obstacles I have encountered and how I’ve moved forward:

My Instagram account doesn’t have a lot of followers since it hasn’t been used in over two years
so I needed to figure out a strategic way to gain more followers. I think that posting more
frequently will allow me to gain more followers, but I felt it would also be smart to follow other
hair artists so they can follow me back. I have been following lots of people and almost all of
them are following back!

The skills I’ve used and what I’ve learned”

I have had to use lots of creativity to make posts that are both beautiful and informative. With
each post, I believe I have learned how to better summarize what I need to say so that my posts
aren’t so “wordy”.

My goals and deadlines for the next week:

● Create one informative Instagram post
● Finish my criteria for my research paper at the beginning of next week and then start
researching/brainstorming for my research paper.

Evidence of progress:
