Definition of Terms

The following definitions were used for the purpose of this study:

Technology: A body of knowledge and actions used by people to apply resources in

designing,

producing, and using products, structures, and systems to extend the human potential for

controlling and modifying the natural and human-made environment (Wright Sc Lauda,

1993,

p. 3).

Attitude: A learned predisposition to respond in a consistently favorable or unfavorable

manner with respect to a given obiect (Fishbein & Ajzen, 1975, p. 6).

It is used interchangeably with belief and is formed by an analysis of perception.
