5 Card Flickr Story

How to Play?
● The site deals you random pictures from Flickr that you put together to
tell a story
● From each 5 photos you are dealt, you choose one to add to your
story
● You then repeat this 4 more times until you have 5 photos that you
can then use to tell a story
● Then, say or write your story and share!
What is Five Card Flickr?

● A simple and useful online storytelling tool


● Students could use this tool for oral language story telling or
for inspiration for creating a written story.
● Stories could be created individually or as a group.
● Provides great visual support and endless creativity for
students

Let’s play!
1. Breakout rooms of three
2. One person from each group click this link and share your screen with the rest
of the group. Game Link
3. Choose the tap “play a round”
4. Each team member chooses a photo until you have five total (keep in mind
that you will have to make a cohesive story).
5. Now that you have chosen your photos, each group member says 1-2
sentences about their photo making one story altogether.
6. Be prepared to present your story to the class!
