Sewer Grates: A 108 Word Lecture

Sewer grates are mischievous beings, purported to provide a gateway to another dimension ruled by

sludge.

They are supposedly deep gray or mottled with rust, although they mostly appear to be invisible and can

only be found with the heel of your shoe when least expected. Usually when you are engaged in

conversation with a member of the human race whom you admire. This can cause a great deal of

discomfort, both physical and emotional, as your ankle twists to a previously undiscovered angle and

you tumble downwards, with all the grace of a soggy plastic bag.
