Dear Leeanna, 

My name is Allie Bogris, and I am really excited to be a possible employee at

Community Living Durham North.

As a DSW student at Durham College, I have learned quite a lot over the course of the
program, and I feel that I can make a noticeable contribution as a member of
Community Living Durham North team.

What drew me most to this field is the ability to support individuals who face a variety of
challenges. Being in the DSW program, I feel that I can use my skills to make a positive
impact in the community.

In my role as a peer leader in my high school English class, I provided 1:1 coaching to
students, which in turn taught me valuable skill sets in how to manage people with
different competencies and learning capabilities, to collaborate, organize and manage
conflict. That, coupled with my current role as a tutor, has enhanced my open-
mindedness and patience when working with a variety of different individuals. 

I am especially excited to demonstrate my skills and knowledge during my time with

Community Living and I look forward to your email.
