The XL1000V Varadero is a rugged and powerful Adventure Touring bike that’s equally at

The exciting Transalp’s adventure-seeking performance package is beautifully wrapped in

sleekly integrated bodywork that effectively deflects the wind while attracting admiring
glances. New for ’05 are black-anodised aluminium wheel rims, smaller new tapered-end tail
pipes, a high visibility instrument panel with new meter designs, clear-lens indicators, a new
raised three dimensional logo and a new smoked windscreen for a meaner and sportier look.

Further adding to the Transalp’s unique mystique are a new dual-texture seat with a lower
profile that gives shorter riders an easier reach into the Transalp’s wide world of riding
enjoyment, and an elegantly redesigned new instrument panel that exudes a sense of
cosmopolitan charm.
