Research Methodology

This chapter looks at the various research methodology that are

commonly used by researchers in the field of information system.

RESEARCH METHODS
This study used the descriptive type of research to determine the
effects of No MOVEMENT DAY on Sunday through positive and negative
possible outcomes, survey questioners are provided by the researchers to seek
answers and opinions from selected random respondents of Cotabato City.
The negative and positive outcomes are question derived from dependent
variable of conceptual framework to present and will be answered by the
respondents.

LOCALE OF THE STUDY

This study was conducted in Purok Usman 7, Cotabato City.

RESPONDENTS
The respondents of this study are 30 residents which are randomly
selected from the residents of purok Usman, Poblacion 7 Cotabato City.

SAMPLING TECHNIQUES
The respondents of this study were chosen through simple random
sampling. It follows that in such a procedure, every member of the population
is equally likely to be selected.
RESEARCH INSTRUMENT
The following questionnaires are self-made which will be asked to a
random selected residents of Cotabato City. The survey questionnaires will be
the lists of positive and negative outcomes of implementing NO MOVEMENT
DAY on Sunday to the residents of Cotabato City, specifically in Purok Usman,
Poblacion outcome question.

DATA GATHERING
30 pieces of survey questionnaires are provided and will be
distributing to the 30 respondents who’s willing to answer the survey
questionnaires. The respondents will be given a time to answer questionnaires
and will be collected personally by the researcher. A random survey will be
done to validate each respondent’s perception and conducted observation.

STATISTICAL TOOL FOR ANALYSIS

The mean and frequency percentage will be used in describing the
effects of NO MOVEMENT DAY on Sunday in Cotabato City.

The way of describing the effects of NO MOVEMENT DAY will be the following
scale.
4- strongly disagree
3- Disagree
2- Agree
1- Strongly agree
