The

Murray
River
HASS Year 5
Exploring flora and fauna
Over the next few weeks we are going to be looking at the wildlife
that lives in and around the Murray River- a hugely important water
source for a large area of Australia. We are going to look at native
and introduced species. We will be looking at efforts that have been
taken in conserving native species and the consequences which
migt occur as a result of not doing this effectively. We will also be
exploring pest species which are negatively impacting the Murray
River and what consequences might be of their overpopulation.
