4.1 Description of First Aid Measures

Personal protection for first aider

- After inhalation If inhalation of this material occurs and adverse effects result, move person to fresh air
and keep comfortable for breathing. If breathing stops, administer artificial respiration
and seek medical aid promptly.
- After skin contact Immediately brush off excess chemical and flush contaminated areas with plenty of
water. Immediately remove all contaminated clothing, jewelry, and shoes. Rinse skin with
large amounts of water/shower. Discard any contaminated leather goods.

- After eye contact If in eyes, immediately rinse eyes cautiously with water for up to 15 minutes. Remove
contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Get medical attention
immediately.

Depending on the concentration, duration and nature of exposure may result in cyanosis, drowsiness, agitation,
cardiovascular disorders, headache, somnolence, CNS disorders. Repeated exposure may cause skin dryness or
cracking.

Subsequently administer: activated charcoal (20 - 40 g in 10% slurry).
