Hello!

My name is Jennifer Grisales and I’m from Medellín, Colombia. Currently I’m 24 years old
and cursing the 9th semester of Hispanic Philology at the University of Antioquia. This
semester I’ll be part of the exchange program at the University of XXX, I’m very excited
about coming to this university and get to know another culture. I’ve been dying to be here
since my 4th semester. That’s why I want to tell you more about the place I come from, to
make you want to live an experience like mine. Now I’ll introduce you my college: it’s also
known as UdeA and it has a heritage on its own. It was founded in 1803, on behalf of
Charles IV of Spain and it was ruled by Franciscans. It started with the teaching of Latin
and philosophy, now there’s approximately 87 undergraduate degrees, so if you’re
interested you’ll probably find something that fits you. Another thing that may get you into
the UdeA is its campus, is full of threes, art, history and wildlife, to say the least. The place
is an open museum and it’s considered as a part of what people call the city lung. There,
there’s always something to do: a play, a concert, readings, workshops, sports, etc. That’s
why the people that inhabit the place always seems to be in love with it. Usually, the
students, the teachers and other people that work there are willing to help you or to
introduce you the campus. Besides this, my university is widely recognized as one of the
best universities in the country and many people dream about studying there. With all this
said, I hope you are one of this now.
My best regards,
Jennifer.
